Common questions
What counts as a 'celebration'?
Each birthday or work-anniversary post counts as one celebration against your annual cap. Roster size is unlimited on every plan — you only pay for posts that go out.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
Do you offer a free trial?
The Free plan is a permanent free tier — not a trial. Stay on it as long as 30 celebrations a year covers your team (about 30 people).
What happens at the cap?
At 80% of your annual cap, Cake Day DMs your admins. At 100%, the next celebration that would have posted is skipped (and logged). Upgrade to resume immediately.
Is Cake Day cheaper than Birthday Bot or Bonusly?
For small teams, yes — the Free plan covers ~30 people forever. For larger teams, Cake Day is flat-rate (no per-seat) which is meaningfully cheaper than per-seat tools like Bonusly once you cross ~50 teammates.
